The MICE world is changing: traditional industries are becoming less prominent, while new players such as tech companies, sustainable brands and digital start-ups are setting the tone. Their requirements for events are different – they want more meaning, more authenticity, more connection.
This is exactly where MICE CONNECT RETREAT comes in. It is not a conference or a product show, but a carefully curated retreat for forward thinkers in the MICE industry. Friday, 07th November – Arrive & Rethink
Change begins with dialogue.
Until 2 p.m. : Individual arrival & check-in at the retreat setting
3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. : Impulses & Workshop I: New Requirements – New Events An interactive introduction: What is driving the MICE world? What are the expectations of new clients? What does ‘purpose’ mean in the context of events?
From 7 p.m.: Dinner & Deep Talks An inspiring conclusion in a creative atmosphere with intense discussions and new connections.
Saturday, 08th November – Change of perspective & transfer of experience
Get out of your everyday routine and into new ways of thinking.
Until 10:00 a.m.: Breakfast & morning activation: choose between jogging, meditation or enjoying coffee with a view
10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.: Workshop II: Localhood & Leadership What we can learn from monastic life, values and community for modern event design
1:00 p.m.: Business lunch at the Wald.Weit restaurant Regional, inspiring, high quality
3:00 p.m. : Walk & Talk: Deep into the Woods Discussions on topics such as community building, sustainable formats and new MICE concepts
7 p.m.: Experience Dinner at the monastery An evening for all the senses: storytelling, music and hospitality culture as immersive best practice

Connection that makes a difference.

10:00 a.m. : Yoga for Everyone Balance and new energy for the conclusion
11:30 a.m.: Closing session Learnings & ideas for 2026 specific takeaways for the own practice
12:30 p.m.: Networking lunch & closing remarks Final exchange, new plans, initial implementation ideas
