Working with international hoteliers has enriched me for years, so that I founded SK inspiring Hotels & Venues in 2020 during the worst crisis in tourism. A contact point for private & family-run hotels who want to acquire the German MICE market to use their full potential and place your event opportunities with the right target group. My network is just waiting for you and your individual stories.

More than 10 years ago, I decided to dedicate my career to the travel industry. Starting at the most successful travel company in Europe prepared me for what followed. Already in my mid-20s, I managed the Incentives & Meetings department in a 200-bed premium resort in Austria – from small events to exclusive rentals with around 200 corporate events per year.
To also get an insight into the classic city hotel business, I moved to a global hotel brand in 2015. Here I was allowed to get to know the advantages and disadvantages of a world-wide hotel chain. The longing for individuality and creativity finally led me to the most successful premium club provider in Europe. At the head office I built up the international MICE business for 25 resorts and felt like a start-up in a big company. After just one year, 7-figure revenues were generated – in markets that had been completely unknown until then. In order to develop these markets sustainably, I worked with international MICE sales representatives myself and used their network. These colleagues were part of my sales team and, as local partners, were the door openers for the hotel placements. Due to the diversity of the market developments in Great Britain, France, Scandinavia and the Benelux market, I realized more and more that each culture has to be treated individually. Without acceptance and understanding, I would not have gotten far here as a German and would not have celebrated these successes in such a short time.

With my first job at the reception of my grandfather’s family-run hotel, the most important milestone was set – I want to work in the hospitality industry and with people! Graduating from hotel management school in Austria opened the doors – travelling and working all over the world with stays in America, Great Britain, Australia. After four years, my personal and professional development brought me to event, music and marketing management in London. My passion for new technologies combined with the hospitality industry opened the way to become an event and marketing manager for corporate clients worldwide.
Today, with over 50% remote workers globally and the constant change in the market, flexibility and agility are more than required. Only those who know how to position themselves and are open to new ways will be successful.
